1. Who we are

This website (stellarconsult.co) is operated by Stellar Danışmanlık A.Ş. (“Stellar Consult”, “we”), MERSİS No: 0781093185400001, Soğuksu Mah. Karadut Sk. 25/9, 34800 Beykoz, Istanbul, Türkiye. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

2. What data we collect

  • Contact data: when you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we process your name, email address, phone number, company, position and the content of your message.
  • Website usage data: we use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Site Kit) to understand how the site is used. It collects data such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and uses cookies (_ga, _ga_*).
  • Technical data: our hosting provider automatically records server logs (IP address, date and time, browser information) for security and to keep the site running.
  • Preference cookie: the pll_language cookie remembers your language choice (English/Turkish).

We do not use contact forms, comments or user accounts on this website, and we do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and, if you wish, to prepare and carry out an engagement (taking steps prior to entering into a contract; KVKK Art. 5/2(c)).
  • To operate, secure and improve the website (our legitimate interests; KVKK Art. 5/2(f)).
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as record-keeping and responding to authorities (KVKK Art. 5/2(ç)).
  • Website analytics and the related cross-border transfer are carried out on the basis of your explicit consent where the law requires it (KVKK Art. 5/1 and 9).

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only as needed with: our IT and service providers (website hosting; Google LLC for analytics, fonts and business email; Meta for WhatsApp messages); our specialist partners, only where you ask us to involve them in your matter and under confidentiality; and public authorities where required by law. Some of these providers store data outside Türkiye (for example in the United States or the EU). Such transfers are made in line with KVKK Article 9 and, where applicable, GDPR safeguards.

5. How long we keep data

We keep enquiry and engagement records for as long as needed for the purpose and for the retention periods required by Turkish commercial and tax law (generally up to 10 years). Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

6. Cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your use of the site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 (and GDPR, where applicable) you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad; to request correction, deletion or destruction; to object to outcomes arising solely from automated processing; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always published on this page.
